Positive thinking is one of the traititudes I personally work on all the time. Going down the dark hole of negativity and pessimism is not a place to be. It does nothing for your health, those around you or to your state of well being.
One of the self-starters I interviewed in my book, Secrets of Self-Starters, Dave Sabey, makes it a habit that when negative thoughts show up, he leaves the room in which the thoughts occurred and does something to change up the thought patterns. For Dave, it’s doing jigsaw puzzles. He then works through the issue/problem/concern in a constructive manner.
