You would think since I have written and revised my business-writing book five times, that I would get used to the process! Sigh. It is just a tough slog to get it finished.
What’s the famous saying about drops of blood forming on your forehead? It’s not just the writing, it’s the other decisions you must make. What font do you want to use? Where do you want the page numbers—top, bottom, middle? How do you want your chapter title page to be graphically displayed? What should the introduction say? What if I forget someone on the acknowledgement page?
Decisions about the cover, the back cover, endorsements, etc. The list goes on and on—especially when you are self-publishing. But, I am very excited to share these stories with others, so it’s worth it.
